Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 25, 2026
Inputflow helps users turn English text into listening practice with audio, synced words, translations, and vocabulary review. This Privacy Policy explains what information Inputflow stores, sends, and uses.
Information stored on your device
Inputflow stores app data locally on your device, including:
- Listening sessions
- Generated or pasted text used to create sessions
- Audio generated for sessions
- Synced transcript words
- Glossary and vocabulary items
- Language preferences
- Appearance preferences
- Onboarding completion state
- An anonymous app user identifier
This information is used to make the app work and to keep your learning experience available between app launches.
Information sent to service providers
When you ask Inputflow to generate text, create audio, or translate words and phrases, the relevant content may be sent to third-party AI or infrastructure providers so the requested feature can work.
Examples include:
- Text prompts used to generate learning material
- Text used to generate audio
- Selected words or phrases used for translation
- Technical request metadata needed to operate the service
Inputflow does not intentionally send your learning content to analytics events.
Subscriptions
Inputflow uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and purchase status. RevenueCat may process subscription-related information such as:
- Anonymous app user identifier
- Purchase status
- Entitlement status
- Product and offering identifiers
- Store transaction information provided by Apple
Purchases are billed and managed through your Apple ID and the App Store.
Analytics
Inputflow uses PostHog for product analytics. Analytics events are designed to use safe metadata only, such as:
- Which screen or feature was opened
- Whether a request succeeded, failed, or was blocked
- Subscription plan state
- Usage percentage buckets
- General event source
Analytics events must not include:
- Prompt text
- Pasted text
- Generated text
- Selected words
- Translations
- Transcript content
- Audio content
- Glossary words
- Free-text support report content
Analytics failures do not block app functionality.
Content safety and usage limits
Some AI-backed requests may be limited, blocked, or unavailable due to content-safety rules, provider availability, quota limits, or service reliability protections.
Support reports
When you use "Report a problem," Inputflow prepares a diagnostic template with app and device information when available. The report template does not automatically include your learning content, generated content, translations, transcript content, audio content, or glossary words. You choose what to send.
Children
Inputflow is not intended for children under 13.
Data deletion
Because Inputflow stores learning data locally on your device, you can remove locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device. For subscription or support questions, contact support using the support contact listed on the app's support page.
Changes to this policy
Inputflow may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
